After growing up on his Fathers Stud Farm in South Africa, Dylan joined Robert Armstrong and then Barry Hills for 3 years, gaining invaluable Work Experience here in the UK. Dylan then returned to South Africa as Assistant Trainer to Justin Snaith for 4 years where he also rode 3 Amateur Race winners. He then left to pursue his dreams of running his own yard, and was successful at the highest level (Group One) Dylan also had the unique achievement of training a winner at every race-course in South Africa.

Dylans Father, Luiz, a Group One winning Breeder and selector as well as successful trainer himself, has joined Dylan in the UK to assist with all aspects of Bloodstock Sales (@pedigree_to_win) and running the yard. His extensive knowledge and expertise of breeding and bloodlines is what makes him a valuable member of the team.

Emily is Dylan’s daughter and has grown up surrounded by horses and riding, making racing second nature to her. Now based in the office, she manages the day-to-day administration at DCR and plays a key role in resolving any operational issues that arise. Emily is also responsible for HR and helps ensure that internal and external communications stay current and effective

Bob is an integral part of the team as race planner, spending hours each day meticulously planning each race, which is what keeps our strike rate so good!

Incredible horseman that has been with Dylan from the beginning. He brings vast experience and is also a former amateur rider who worked with top trainers such as Gosden and Dunlop and many champion horses in his career.

Rebecca brings incredible experience as head lass after working for William for over a decade. She is a very experienced horsewoman and has been with Dylan at Phantom House for ages now and is an integral part of our head team.

Vastly experienced travelling head lad, Sasha originally came from Ukraine, spending time in the war, brings his travelling and horse riding experience to the team, and is an incredible addition, ensuring safe and correct movements of our horses and team.
